What's wrong with this picture?


If the smoke would stop, then perhaps the NHK writers could see the situation more clearly

    i believe your point is the secondary containment has been chainsawed open, and given the primary containment was damaged by a hydrogen blast, it is kind of silly to worry about opening the reactor doors as gas passages exist from the torus to the secondary to the stairwells and elevators to that hole in the fuel deck?
