Philippine Cesium activity Update
As a reminder, it was this PhilStar article released last Friday that had me concerned enough to promptly contact the PNRI. Apparently, the following statement in that article - "Detected were 47 micro-becquerels per cubic meter of iodine-131, 2.6 Bq/m3 of cesium-134, and 3.1 Bq/m3 of cesium-137" - is just another misprint. These values should have been stated in micro-becquerels. This is the second misquoting of radiation values in a week out of PhilStar. They need to be more careful.
